Got to see the Blue Angels take off from SFO on Sunday.

Meh, I got to listen to the Blue Angels all week long!

Luckily, we went sunday instead of saturday. My son would be pissed if he didn't see the BAs.

Tried my new 70-200mm f2.8 VR, but it was too cloudy and I was just too far. Here is a picture I can share for now.

How'd you get a closeup during takeoff? I've watched them 3 times already and taken pics every year. They practically all look the same. The only way I can tell when I took the photo is by looking at the EXIF. LOL! :bigsmile:

The local Mustang club got an invite to SFO to see the planes getting prepped just outside the maintenance hangars.

That particular Mustang group is spread throughout Northern CA. I've gone to some of their events that are local to the Bay Area. Some of their activities are too far for me though.
