what 14/15 k 250 SE bulb are people liking now?

I am looking for bulbs. :D

Going to replace the 20 K 400 watters with 250's so I was thinking of going with 14/15K to make up for the wattage. I could still go 20k, but not sure yet.

Any thoughts?
 
Haven't heard about anyone that's tried them, but the Phoenix's now come in a SE version. If it's anything like the DE version, should be a good choice in the 14K range.

I use radiums myself after having switched from Phoenix DE's. I liked the radium 400s better, but the 250s are pretty good on a HQI ballast, crisp white with a little blue

I could let you borrow my old radium bulbs and I think I may have an old hamilton laying around. I can bring them tomorrow with the ballasts and you can bring em back to me at the swap.
 
Erin has a couple of my old bulbs but I will bring whatever I have left. Maybe we can just clean swap for your old 400W bulbs? I always like to have some backups and right now all I have are my 2 radiums that I am running now.
 
I'm due for new bulbs too, I made the mistake of buying the Reeflux 14k's when I should have gone with the bulbs Bryan had the 10's. Should I get the 10k Reeflux or something else? (Sorry to high jack).
 
I tried the reeflux 10ks and hated it. Made my tank look...flesh colored. that odd pink/beige color.
