What are the hottest corals?

Sun God torch I recently acquired a small one and it’s been on my list for a while

Torch of the Gods is also on my list… but too expensive

Holy grail prices have really come down

For hammers I know holograms are popular right now

Not sure about SPS and Zoas. Some high end zoas seem to be dropping a lot too. GMKs and Stratospheres are a lot cheaper now than last year

I really like all of the yellow ones, like the banana torches, but it seems like they cannot take a lot of light, which is frustrating. I have nowhere less than 300 PAR. The holy grail is one I am interested in, as it seems to be able to take more light.

I am probably the only one who does not like hammers but the gold hammer I got from the swap is growing on us and it is very healthy.

Yeah I kinda figured out the same thing. I really need to get some bars for my frag tank. Or maybe rotate my lights 90 degrees. Currently if I try to increase PAR for my torches in the outer edges then the ones in the center don’t like the light PAR.

All the yellow ones are nice. But so expensive! I currently have two holy grails. One OG holy grail and another I picked up at the most recent CFM. Not as bright as my first one. I heard some vendors at the event referring to them as “B Grade” holy grails.
 
TCK Insane Plate Coral is one of the most expensive “hot” corals that I can think of.

Just finished listening to a reef therapy podcast about Monsoon Aquatics out of Australia. After listening to the details of the collection process I understand why so many corals are so pricey, especially those you can’t frag.
