What Coral / Fish do you consider to be a must - have and why?

Coral that I must have in any of my tanks will always be a OG Bounce!
Fish that I must have in any of my tanks is will always be some type of Onyx Percula Pair (Wild Preferred but can't say no to Addison Quest!

Not in my experience, but they love lords, blastos, and trachys.

Must-have coral: dragon soul torch. It was my wife and I's first torch, and we love it when it's colored up.

Fish: Going forward, probably either a CBB or bimac anthias school.

I like fish with jobs!

CBB, Tang with each mouth part (zebra, acanthurus, ctenochaetus), a hunting wrasse, blennies partly for their personality.

Will always have clownfish too…even though they are jobless.

Foxface. Destroyer of algae. Preferably a Magnificent.

I think I'll always have one from now on, having solved multiple algae problems with them.

I second Derek- some of the fish need jobs-tend to always have a wrasse, either tang or small dwarf angelfish depending on size of tank, some sand sifting goby as well. The rest will be whatever looks cool and compatible to the tank.

For me -corals -this tank-I like the sticks -so lots of acros and other than other sps.

Miss having a bigger tank -loved that Desardjin (sp) sailfin tang. Both pretty and great destroyer of bubble algae.

Bella Goby. I have a pair now and 2 is cooler than one. They’re pretty, clean the sand and don’t make too big of a mess.

Bubble Coral. Cheap, Cant kill it, Lots of movement and appearance changes with water chemistry changes. Hard to pass up a Yellow Tang. Just a staple in the hobby and adds iconic yellow.

I just like watching them interact. Plus my tanks a 180 so there’s a lot of cleaning to be done
