I was luckily able to make it with 20 minutes before closing time. I brought my 11 year old daughter and her friend. I told them to find their favorite coral (in the past this has been expensive). This time she found this large green coral. Not even sure what species, but for $20 I’m willing to give it a try!

Check the splatter nub from me, the other grown baby I have has that same little hint of gold. Hard to capture on camera though

3.) CB Maleficent Acro
4.) Yellow Favia
5.) Purple Stylo

I regret not spending more time talking with and meeting other BAR members, I was paralyzed by the task of coral selection. Lots of cool stuff!

Got a Scoly and a chunky Garf Bonsai from Tin/Coral Exotic. LPS contest prize helped with that purchase.

Also got an aquacultured hologram hammer from Rudy/Golden Basket Corals. Not fully open yet so no pic, but it's nice.

Ooof! Good to know. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the Feb swap (gotta go to a baby shower). I'll make the next one though!

It's definitely got more gold (shows up better under blue in person, but this is daylight to compare):

The gold goes down most of the stalk too, but it's subtle unless you're under full actinic spectrum really.

I think just making sure the coral doesn't get stung by anything while the peanut worm wanders around in the sand.
