What's your experience moving established setups? Any particular thoughts/advice?

Hi all,

I'm not currently planning on moving any time soon, however, as I am in the process of setting up my first tank (dream 120G reef!), I'm certainly wondering how I'll move the tank if and when I ever have to. I don't imagine ever leaving the immediate bay area due to working in tech, but, nonetheless, the idea is still pretty daunting. Any advice / shared experience is greatly appreciated!

rubbermaid bins, extra water
skilled assistants make things much easier

I have moved 100g+ systems a handful of times. Went well each time.

Plan on it taking a day on its own. Don't plan on moving a whole house and tank at the same time.
Get water mixing at the new location.
Have bins or trashcans for moving submerged rocks.
I never reuse old sand.

It's not as daunting as it sounds.
