I didnt read your whole post but i wanted to let you know what in a week or two costco will have a 47in Phillips that is 1080p and also is 120hz. I bought my samsung from circut city about two weeks ago and will be returning it for the new phillips. One of my friends has the model before the new one that is comming out and its great. It also has 3 if not 4 HDMi inputs. So you might want to look in to that.
