Who got the Peppermint shrimp at DPV

I know several of us bought the shrimp. Any luck yet? I count my aptasia and I think one little one is gone ;D .. Hopefully they will move to the bigger ones ..

I got a couple but they're both in a tank with no aptasia. I'll move them to the main tank later when I have the time.

I just picked up a couple, and as of yet the only thing that they have done is hide in the rocks.

Yeah you won't see them often. They only come out at night to eat. I have a hard time finding they even in my 12G tank. They can hide really good.

On the other hand, you may never see them again. I installed 3 in a 55 gal with tons of aiptasia and not one aptasia disappear, but all of the peppermints did. ?

I added a cb, and guess what? No more aptasia.

euod, same for CB. Work for some but not for others...

For someone like me who has a small tank, it's hard to find a CB small enough for a 12G tank ..

Woohoo.. no more aiptasia in my display.. I had a really big one which I thought the shrimp won't touch but can't find it today.. That thing was a lot bigger than both of the shrimps ;D .. I just have to remove the two inside the filter box.. That's easy to take care 8) ..

I was looking in my tank last night and I noticed some of the bigger aptaisa is gone. I still have some but it is better YEAH!!!
