Would you suggest flexibility? Like return line over the top and gravity drain just dumping back not hard connection sorta like down tube into sock or flexline plumb?. Since any movement between the two large tanks will compromise the hard connection.. Simple quake or small adjustments can compound larger. Ive thought about doing this also

That is a nice weir tho. I figure in a few months it’s gonna be all junky with bubble algae , coralline algae and whatever else gets stuck in there.Consider 3d printing a weir. I’ve had good success with it. You may need to print it in sections since the box is so long. I’ve tried routing out weir before and it’s just such a pain in the bum making it look nice and making everything line up right. Of course, that could just be my routing skills.

These were all new pieces. Not the first set. I also told him if they are under sized a hair. They need to be all undersized by a hair.
