Roof is tarped but it leaks. Started to lay out the electrical. I’m whatever. Part of life.

Electrical is done except main power. I’ll wait until it drys out a little bit more before doing that.
So should I try the can closed foam insulation or just the plain fiberglass ? Has anyone tried the can spray foam insulation before ? I read mixed reviews. Both are about the same price. If I get the good spray foam , it’s way more money. I don’t want to spend that much. I’m almost at my guesstimated budget.

Well spray foam definitely seals out the moisture fills all the cracks since its almost waterproof compared to regular glass which absorbs moisture.. Rodents can chew through both but not as easy in foam..Rodents love to nest in regular glass..Go with closed cell foam if you decide!..Theres stone wool also but closed cell foam seems better..
Only thing if you decide foam you may want to run some metal flex conduit in case a line needs to be added or replaced but slim chance if all was wired correctly etc!! Foam is also a pain if you want to add or change anything since it basically glues everything together lol
Awesome your cruising along!!

I hear ya. I might be opening a can of worms with the AliExpress can spray foam tho. I’m a fan of self sabotage tho. Lol.

Awesome job so far! Looks like my SunCast Modernist shed, but much better quality lol. Are you adding recessed lighting or an electrical outlet in the ceiling? An outlet in the ceiling seems like it would come in handy if you plan on ceiling mounting your lights. Looking forward this build!

I bought those drop in recessed lights that you can change the color. Was gonna set them to as blue as possible. Outlets in the ceiling make me feel so industrial but it would be handy. They would have to be in the exact spot. Which I’m not good at planning out.

Rain finally stopped. Note to self. Don’t build outside stuff in the winter. Lol.

My son and my nephew painted some of the back and this side with primer. It took them all day. I’ll never get to retire

Almost done with the outside.
I’m getting tired tho. Hopefully by the weekend I’ll be done with the outside. Or NOT. Probably Not. Wishful thinking.

Man. Priming took forever. 2 coats. The wood sucked it up. 4 gallons. Just crazy.

Mounted the solar back on the roof.

Painted the base coat.

Neighbor asked me to paint the side that they see the same color as the next door neighbors house so it blends into their scenery. So one wall is a different color. Worked out good too. Always buy extra paint. The girl at HD wanted to sell me a quart. Crazy.

Anyways. Last week and weekend was long and tiring. Just minor details on the outside. But I’m beat.

I am just amazed that you are able to build this. Remind me, what is the shed about? Is it an outdoor fish tank room?
