A non-clam eating, reef safe Christmas Wrasse ate him. That was followed up by my Zoa garden eating Blue Tang

Love your setup Bruce! I’m a fan of IM and the low profile style. I wonder though, if there are any pros/cons of an AIO of that size vs traditional sump or does it work out to be the same experience?

I love the tank, I love the glass and the look of it, but there are a few trade-offs that make it a little more difficult to maintain. Nutrient export is the primary difference and it's a little more difficult. Skimming isn't as efficient in the limited space in the rear chambers as it is in an in-sump full size skimmer. Also, you can't maintain a large enough refugium in the rear chambers to make a significant difference. None of those are deal breakers for me as good husbandry and the proper mix of technology can do much of the same thing. It just means you have to keep an eye on i a little more. Overall though, this tank has been up and running for a few years now and it's the easiest of my tanks to maintain at this point.
