Hey guys,

I have been keeping a wunderpus for almost 2 months. If you are interested, I am logging it here:

Thanks guys!

I get really torn about 'zebra' and flamboyants. We don't know much about them, and it looks like they may be becoming rarer in the wild, so they prolly shouldn't be collected at all. But, you know the hobby...

how rare are they now as opposed to before? I'm not familiar with protection laws, but is there enough of a scare or something to put them under some protective laws?

They come from different countries, so it would be really really difficult to protect them. They do seem to be rarer than before. I was talking to a researcher who went to indonesia for 3 weeks to photograph wunderpus and flams, but in three weeks, wasn't able to fine a single specimen.

Oh, here is some video :D :

To get something listed on CITES a country has to present the case to the committee and the comittee has to vote on it. It's a pretty big deal to get something listed. Heck, it took like 8 years to get the Bangai cardinal listed and it is only native to one island. One part of an island at that. It took a US researcher to continually present his case to get ehm listed.
