What is the issue with them, I have 2 of those over my 65 gallon tank been running roughly 2 months, so far I haven't had any issues with them. Is there anything specific I should keep a eye on?

They burn out. They are cheap. Takes about 6 months to a year. The most I’ve gotten is 2.5 years

Hopefully they like me more than that, and keep going like the little engine that could.

Two of mine I’ve had for 1 1/2 years, bought in May 2023. Fingers crossed I at least get 2 1/2 years

Sweet! Stoked to see these released. I really like mine. Solid lights so far and tons of output. A little more spectrum customization would be amazing.

This is what they said about the light mount options. I’ve been back and forth about these lights after seeing the good reviews. Noticed that none of the mount options were available which I would need since the display tank is eurobraced so I couldn’t use the arm mounts.

Couldn't these be attached to a rail? It looks like it from this picture that they would slide on then held in place the this Allen bolt.

What kind of rail? If I do end up going with this light, I’d want to use one of the multi light hanging kits. I’m trying to avoid anything attached to the tank

Yeah exactly like that. That is what I did with my lights. I already had the 72inch RMS rail that my lights were attached too. I just changed how it was mounted.

@MichaelB gave me a lead that they were on Lightning Deal on Amazon. They already had a coupon for money off but with the lightning deal it brought them down to $299 each. Ended up getting two and the controller. They include a 1 year warranty and 6 months on top of that if you register through Nicrews website. Nothing close to ReeFis warranty but considering the first gen didn’t include warranty.. I’d say it’s a step up for Nicrew.
