Urchin that eats valonia?

Ok @Thales -spill the beans -just to demonstrate that people are also excited about other things than the Rubbermaid toothbrush- you had mentioned an urchin that eats valonia? I couldn’t quite get the name of it off reef beef though. Can you tell us what it is and the concerns around coral.

Is this problem not already solved with the crabs that we are always recommending here (forgot the name)?

For the record, I am a big fan of urchins.
There are two crabs -pithos and emerald crabs., they tend to work ok-except they can’t get at circulation pumps or the weir where it can hang out.

Also my tuxedo really is a roomba and moves really fast

I missed this. The urchin I was talking about is from the east coast, I am not sure of the name. Bug me in a week if I forget to post. It is a more agressive urching, but doesn't seem to be eating coral.
