Where are you located so far We have a southbay and east bay chat group that's are trying to work out the regional tank tours details. I could add you to the group chat. (No commited required) Than you can see if there js a date that may work for you.

My tank is a tub on my garage floor + my frag tank, since I haven't set up my display again yet. I'll probably sit this one out.

Bumping this post to identify more members from:

The Northbay (+or- 10/15 miles from San Rafael)

Also any members in San Francisco area.

The goal is to setup tank tours for those regions In the next few months.

If you are in those regions feel free to reply here or dm me.

If you know of other members in those regions please dm me and I can reach out to them to discuss tank tours with them.

**Lastly if you would be intrested and available to record videos of tank tours please let me know. It would be awesome if we could share the tank tours in a digtal format as well for those members unable to attend in person. (Not looking for anything of professional quality just someone willing to record youtube type video even with a cell phone.)

So it's that time again. I brought this thread back to life instead of starting a new one.

Last year we have southbay and east bay tank tours. Combined with Lfs visits.

Ideally we would love to have 3-6 tanks per tour date maybe paired with a nearby lfs visit to make a few hours out of it. Followed up with maybe a few pizzas, drinks social period.

I hope we can do this again this year and maybe even add a few more tours.

I would love to get those who showed tanks last year to participate again in addtion to new members.

Please don't feel as though you must have some super awesome' high end setup to participate. In reefing everyone is at different levels in terms of budget, tank size, available space, experience, and all of us have ups and downs. So don't let that stop you from signing up.

Once we have a decent list of those willing, I will make group chats based on bay area region to work out potential tank tour dates. Once confirmed we'll announce the dates.

*There are a few members I will personally reach out to via dm.*

So if your willing to show off your tank please respond here or if you know someone I should reach out to let me know.

Also be sure to include the city your located in so we know what group to add you to.

No specific dates or time frames currently. It would depend on the general availability of those able to show tanks in each region. Finding a suitable day for 4-6 people lol can be challenging to say the least.

We will keep you on the list now. If there are a few more memebers near you that would make it more plausible.

Last time the thought of virtual tours or tank feature of some kind were also kicked around before as we have a few members kinda far out.

@SupraSaltyReefer maybe you might have thoughts on how we could look into getting something like this as a option or making a tank features a thing. I think there are a few utubers that do things like this I've found intresting.

I'm not really certain what options there are in terms of technology; equipment or something like a zoom call that would make a video tour possible with decent quality.

I'll be here, but will have a 3-4 week old likely. So maybe just the front room where the tanks are.
