Well, here I go again. My husband and I both retired and had no plans to move. That has now changed. I'm only 1.5-2 hrs from our children but I want to be closer so I can actually go to my grandkids events. Also, if something happens to my husband, I want to be closer to my daughter. So we are going to move north--Lincoln/rocklin/roseville area. I can't move this tank and hiring it done from Tracy is probably too expensive and finding someone to do it. There's also the issue of having to redo the scape--dirt-plants etc. With the move and a crazy book publishing production (2 books a year), I don't see how I can manage this. I just turned 70! So I have to let this tank go. it's been a joy to me.

Not sure if I should sell it or how much. I have so much $$ in it to just give it away. Any suggestions welcome. Or offers...

Well, it's done. I sold the tank and all that is left is the stand to be picked up. My wall looks so bare. My office had a tank in it since 2016, a brief year or 2 when I upgraded and put it in the living room, then back to my office with my 220 salt water and then this fresh water.

I'll miss fish, and who knows, in the new home, maybe I'll just do a 10 or 20 gal. But no more bigger tanks.

thanks for all the support and kindness here. And by the way, I spent a lot of time catching shrimp!!! I had hundreds lol's.

Sorry to hear you are letting go of the tank. Best of luck finding a new home for it!
found someone settingg up a fish room who has lots of shrimp tanks as well. took forever to catch the shrimps, and the ricefish were the easiest! Thanks for the hours of enjoyment I had
