Nitrates still a bit high but January 3rd they were 41.4 ppm so really happy about the progress so far hopefully that contributes to my phosphates getting lower than the .90 ppm I'm always getting
Thanks, I only did it because I got it when I bought the tank and figured I would try it out. Only dose as needed, currently only ALK as my Calcium and Mg have been really good
Also had a really cool happy face looking coral from the frag swap growing well! Thanks to who ever brought it forgot the name of it, makes me happy to look at :)
Long overdue update!
I finally decided to get serious, I started dosing Lanthanum the way shown here (set it inside my skimmer after diluting original solution), so far so good! However I think my phosphate levels are still high due to a large amount accumulated in my rock work. I had a bunch...
okay great, I was worried going to try to take out all the built up leftover shells and old frag plugs out the sand bed later tonight to make it look nicer!

Thank you I’ll try this out tonight I’ll add it directly into my sump air intake and record a more accurate reading once I get my RODI set up good on Thursday
My conundrum is obviously for the time being my RODI water is compromised would you @derek_SR or anyone else still recommend I dilute to a 1:50 ratio of RODI to Phosphate-E and put it in my skimmer? I'm thinking since my concentration of phosphate is so incredibly high I might be safer just...
