Oh trust me, I’ll start with the least aggressive route first. I’m praying that the stronger magnet and cutter bag or dozer pad get it done!

No not crazing. I talked to the owner from mighty magnets. He’s very confident it is just very hard and flat coraline. I bit the bullet and bought the F6 magnet, dozer pad, bag, and refinish kit. We’ll see how it goes!

Whatever that is that is along the bottom quarter of the tank. Nothing takes it off. The sanding is my last resort.

Hey everyone. Before I go and spend a mint on this setup, I was hoping to try it out beforehand. I need to do some in tank acrylic resurfacing, and was thinking of going with their kit. My tank is 3/4" thick all around, but my current magnet is only rated for 5/8". It just isn't strong enough...

I have always had success with a large 50cc syringe. Make the slurry as thick as possible but still flow out. Never had an issue with a ph spike. But never used it on anything smaller than a 100g system

Lmk how it goes for you. I’m going to call John at advance acrylics for his thoughts since he built the tank for me. Haven’t tried a metal blade. The red plastic Kent scrapper took all the coraline I had off nice and easy. I’d assume if I go with a metal blade I’m going to scratch up the plexi...
