I use several of his lights as supplemental lighting -- form factor works great for that. They're so good though that I might use them as my mains when I replace my radions.

I've tried a very small planted tank in sort of a side-hobby not too focused way, and failed because I couldn't stay ahead of algae. It was a ton of work keeping it off the plants and eventually I just lost the battle. Had a few snails, but maybe not enough.

Saw the new tank last Thursday. Looks fantastic! one more reason to stop by HTA that I did not need.

I'm in Castro Valley (very close to Arvin I think) and have a couple tanks I'm happy to show. Plus a bunch of frags I'd like to give away if any interested.

I feed nori every day, but I just drop the sheet in the tank. It's gone in a couple minutes.

Furniture dollies, 4x4s, blocks, floor jacks, patience.

I think gonis are hit or miss depending on the species. I've had some thrive, and some wither away, all in the same tank. Here's a vid showing 5 I have now. 3 are growing (the red one is a couple years old and was a frag from @under_water_ninja ), and 2 are mostly just hanging in there.

The Hollywood Stunner definitely grows outward with no substrate, but it is one of the thin chalices. It's like a potato chip thickness at first. This pattern might not happen for the thicker ones .

Thanks for your efforts getting these to the swap. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the acro. I've had it in my tanks for at least 8 years, maybe longer.

Stylo and acro colony are gone. I hear it they might make appearances as frags at the swap. Most of the Hollywood Stunner is still available.

I have to clear our my 57g and these corals are taking up too much room. I can't fit them in my frag tank, so before I throw them away, wanted to see if anyone her wants frags or colonies Let me know if interested. --Steve
