Use 1/2" extruded acrylic bar from tap plastics and weldon 4. But honestly, sometimes you gotta "cut bait and run" replacing all the problem equipment you have to save yourself the time of cleaning your leaks, the headache and money of fixing your problem, and to give you some peace of mind.

This thing is the slowest growing thing ever. I have no idea what up with the genes in this particular HW @CaseyP! No homewrecker I've ever seen grows this slow! I got a branch though finally. May have to frag it so I can finally pass this thing along.
