@Alexander1312 my unit does 500gpd so that is about 20g per hour and seems to be more than enough. I'm planning on building a new rodi system with a similar output when I run out of filters for the system i have so I can use more conventional filters.

Where did the plastic part fail? I'm guessing one of these snapped? Maybe plastic from heat causing it to become brittle?
