yeah, little worms/feather dusters. Probably not the cause but don't underestimate zoanthids. They can come back from a half dead poly or even a slither of flesh. They just can't survive a long term dip in sriracha hot sauce.

Got the dual system to work on my Waterbox AIO 35.2. The inside of the overflow has notches to hold the filter sock holder so it causes a tilt. I just need to glue a piece of acrylic to the base of the filter to straighten it up.
