Have a Ranco and a Hydros so triple redundancy. Plenty of room in the sump at least!I like Jagers never had one fail but their so so long!! don't you run aux temp controler like inkbird?
Did not have a problem with any of mine 100 - 600 watts. Just need to treat them nicely (or rather hope you did not get the bad batch that used to be out there). Most titanium heaters are complete garbage so I don't blame you.
Me too. Best of both worlds.Have a Ranco and a Hydros so triple redundancy. Plenty of room in the sump at least!
The clam fuge is very intresting. How has it been working out for you?Bunch of updates since it's been awhile. The female copperband had grown a ton the past few months and got larger than the male who was probably 15% bigger when I introduced him. All of a sudden she started getting aggressive when the lights turned off and was attacking the male to the point where he was trying to jump out of the tank.
Wounds on the male:

Caught both, then gave the female to @MarcosD for his new system. View attachment 69153
The male has healed up but is still a little timid. Shame because they were totally fine and followed each other everywhere for months.
Most corals are doing well. Lost the JF Fox Flame. Lot of hair algae growing too but removing it is pretty easy. I often go over a week without sticking my arms in the tank though, everything is pretty automated.

Added 3x Hydros dosers to the Launch and decided to use the 3x Icecap reservoirs to dose CaCl, bicarb, and MgSO4+ MgCl using Randy's old 3 part methods. Dumping things on at lights on in the morning with each pump staggered by a few minutes to let things clear in the sump. Consumption is picking up as the clams grow and I'm finally seeing coralline and decent growth of other corals.
I'll finish gluing frags, gorgonians, and mini colonies from my nano in here tonight then let things sit for a month before touching anything. Probably will add a bristletooth tang plus some anthias after then. Maybe a biota yellow tang last.
Clowns spawned for the first time after transfer too!View attachment 69157

Dunno, they have antennae but can swim and also hang on the glass. More food for the tank!Welcome back. Glad everything went well with the tank. Curious looking little boogers. Maybe shrimplings? Amphipod species? Hmmm...
Looks and sounds a lot like amphipods. I have them tooDunno, they have antennae but can swim and also hang on the glass. More food for the tank!
Def not the normal amphipod that I also have (the shrimp like ones that look like this):Looks and sounds a lot like amphipods. I have them too

They look long and skinny, more like a long copepod maybe 2mm long. With a centipede style body shape. They're not quite munnids or mysids either, I tried digging through all the old Bob Fenner posts on WWM and couldn't find a match http://www.wetwebmedia.com/podidfaqs.htm
