Well it’s been a month and a fragswap since the last update. Going to try to be quick with plenty of pictures as always!
First, the fragswap was awesome, really nice to see username matched faces. Didn’t see everyone I interact with but did see a few familiar faces.
Going to start something new and just put the Jar names of the corals I got during the rounds that way members know a little part of their tank is carrying on in my tank. Thank you to everybody who participates and makes the exchange worth it in true generosity:

All the corals I got from the swap are alive and well. I gave 6x corals to the swap and 1DBTC. I also gave 2x reefer buddy’s a ton of frags/ doubles I had the day of the swap. I also have added 2 Tiger Conchs and 3x Nas snails CC”. I haven’t done anything to clean the snand bed or rockwork in weeks! (No more film algae). Enjoying the white sand while it lasts lol Here’s a full tank shot and you can see the difference since my last update:

The day before the fragswap I made 3x main rockwork holders (1st pic). 1 lesson I learned, is think of the angle the plug will be at because the two front holders in the first pic are facing the same direction and it annoys me. Although some frags are glued at angles and you can rotate them. Also shout out to
@gmdcdvm because I had the idea after seeing your tank first lol
The bad: Gonnis went south a week after I posted about them. Only the green one is pulling through. Both closed up out of the blue. I did move them to higher spots in the frag holders I made (my cheap lighting). Only the green one responded well and liked the higher PAR. Also not bad to me but to others. I got some Xenia!! Love it, can’t get it to pulse lol Other bad news is I do realize my tangs are getting big but upgrading to a bigger tank was always the goal (Tang Police have Mercy). I’ll see how stable I keep things this time around to deserve the upgrade. Have to start testing parameters soon too.
Lastly some detail tank pics:
