A simple pole to see what every one out there in the BAR family is using.

I have left this multiple choice, as I know not every test by every brand is the best.... you might use Red Sea Alk, but Nyos Mag.... If so, please comment :)

I shall start with that I have Milwaukee salinity tester at this time. Looking to expand my testing though.

Really. I don't test and don't wc on my 9 footer. Given it's only a few weeks old. Unless something die.

I'm more of reactive instead of proactive. Yeh I know it's bad practice and lazy. Bigger tanks can tolerate all the imbalances.

If anyone was curious what the right answers are, here is what I do ;)

A lot of these I got from BRS's video a few years back and agree with their findings.

Nitrate: Nyos
Phosphate: Hanna high range
Calcium: Trident/Red Sea for manual
Alk: Trident/Hanna for manual
Mag: Trident/ Salifert or Hanna for manual
Salinity: Milwaukee

For 3 of my 4 systems, I fly by the seat of my pants because it is all soft coral.

Salifert for Alk, cal, Mg, no3, po4
TM hydrometer for salinity (no need for calibration)
Hanna for alk backup and po4 ulr clarity
