Added two Biscuit starfish, Pentagonaster duebeni, to the tank on 11/12/2025. They found the sponge rock. Let’s hope they survive for awhile.

It’s a Blue streak cleaner wrasse.
Love those think their a must when you have multiple tangs. Takes a bit before the tangs & other fish to let them pick and clean but very rewarding in the end!
But don’t confuse them with the more common blue streak cleaner Goby Elacatinus oceanops which look similar

I use them to tell me the condition of my fish. If I see them cleaning my fish a lot then I know there’s something not right.

Also don't confuse them with False cleanerfish (Aspidontus taeniatus) vs the real Bluestreak cleaner wrasse (Labroides dimidiatus). They almost look identical.

Maybe my fish need to use a luffa when they shower since thats all my cleaner wrasse does!

Agreed, I do the same. Since my tank is ich managed I always get a couple cleaner wrasses whenever I add a new fish. The stress from adding new fish always makes my other tangs have a mild break out.

Horrifying !! Would definitely raise hell at LFS if they sold me one of those imposters!
