I’ve seen them grow straight out, droop down, or even go up I imagine it changes based on conditions and the type of “chalice” since that covers kind of a large group of corals.

I personally think it’s great when lfs can work with hobbyists to distribute captively propagated corals and captive bred fish and make it work for everyone involved. We do generally want to give the club members/hobbyists first crack at stuff on here most of the time in an effort to help...

Honestly I don’t often test. It takes too much time. I change water and often use some gfo that I try to keep on a similar amount and change out schedule and stick to it. When I had a tank I liked to keep it between .1-.2 if I could. I was using a lot of rowaphos to accomplish that.

Any clue why? I think the old reef rite that’s been on there forever has probably dimmed is my only real guess. Think I’ll replace it with one of the newer AI blade ones
