If you have one successful tank and one that isn't - I'd start off with just a simple question and think about what's different between the two? If you started the waterbox with dry rock, it can occasionally take a very long time to find success with corals - like @Turkeysammich says above...

The LPS one will be impossible to judge, IMO, because nobody has had any meaningful growth. I think there are 3-4 of us with similar progress on the SPS one. What if we extend it another few months? Would make both contests more interesting IMO.

It's pretty decent, and there's an active support forum as well. I have been using Hydros for a while. Big fan. Edit - I should add I only have experience with their support via my Alkatronic when they still covered Focustronic stuff. I haven't actually had a single problem with my Hydros stuff...

Red Sea is not a publicly traded company, and has zero requirement or incentive or motive to share any data about anything at all. I would not trust a single word that comes out of a Red Sea rep's mouth (or anyone else at that company, for that matter).
