    Please help this Scoly

Since the mouth is gone, a riskier but possibly higher reward thing would be to manually remove the bubble algae and the mouth algae, inspect the interior, and then potentially do a hydrogen peroxide dip to kill any algae you missed. Otherwise things look grim I'm sorry to say. But hopefully...

    Derek's 225g - Magnifica / SPS Reef

Trochus are mostly nocturnal for me and hide in corners during the day. In my 29g tank I have about 15 plus 2 money cowries. It's narrower than yours too (probably 14 inches wide) with the 90 degree v2.1 Reeflectors at about 11 inches above the water line. Haven't had a snail death in ages...

    Derek's 225g - Magnifica / SPS Reef

Get more trochus snails, I'm still only cleaning mine once every week or more, and usually that's from coralline growth. Are you running 90 or 120 degree lenses? The 90s will restrict how much is bouncing off the panes. Also regarding spectrum, I know you enjoy the color with the AB+ like...

    BioAdvanced (Bayer) coral dip questions

Pretty much blasts anything motile that I've seen, both good and bad: bristleworms, any sort of crustacean, planaria, euphyllia flatworms, brittle stars (have to rescue them fast, they die quickly). Haven't tested on red bugs. Doesn't affect aiptasia much.

    Monzer's tank restart

I'd probably take it offline for right now, there's a risk you could bottom out fast. If it starts to rise again then you can run it a bit more. Just monitor with testing the next couple days then turn it back on

    Eric's 60ish gallon build.

I usually cable tie the heck out of my probes. It's so easy to have this happen since most come with terrible suction cups.

    Patrick's 81G - the last dance

That's what public aquariums do for the back panel. Just rotate out an opaque blue or black background so you never have to scrape the back. Then just soak the other in citric acid.

Was it in a big quart sized container? I only noticed it because there were so many polyps and it barely fit.

    10/19 Frag Swap Volunteer Thread

Posting in here for @IOnceWasLegend If all volunteers could check in ASAP when they arrive (including corals etc.) that would be great. It's been a bit of a bottleneck when we get a rush of people signing up 15 min before the swap begins. Thank you! Also if you have any chairs, please bring...
