Just an idea, but this might work. At minimum something to try out if you don’t want to wait for the kit. I’ve watched the video and the tool reminds me of a feeler gauge. $5 at Harbor Freight

It’s one of those adaptive reef controller boards. I did put some legs on it so it can be free standing. The cabinet is about 20 inches deep. I try and make the front look nice but not tie down to much in the back of the board. Just in case I need to swap something I won’t have to undo a bunch...

If your not into the Hanna digital, I would suggest the Sybon Salinity Refractometer. I’ve had one in the past and would recommend it.

I have an apex with 8 outlets and a triplite strip with 6 outlets. I would suggest getting larger plug strips and not daisy chain them together. But the real question is how much total load on the circuit breaker? Often other outlets are tied to the one that your aquarium is plugged into unless...
