Dangalang's IM Nuvo Fusion 20 Nano

No torches nearby that can sting it. All other corals were normal yesterday, but this pink tip frogspawn next door is starting to act up: These two frogspawn were maricultured so maybe they just don't like the domestic life. Tank is also young.

Yeah, I put the new lights in acclimation mode like you suggested, so right now peak PAR is around 100, and PAR with the old lights was around 120.

Dangalang's IM Nuvo Fusion 20 Nano

First casualty, my neon green frogspawn decided enough was enough. The only thing I noticed yesterday was that its polyp extension was about half of its usual extension, then saw the picture below this morning. All other corals looked normal yesterday. I'm guessing brown jelly disease? What...

    Frag Tank Suggestions

I was thinking of getting the Innovative Marine 25 Lagoon, but wanted to know what others had for suggestions. I have about a 36" wide x 24" deep space and it's on my laundry room countertop, so no room for sump.

I found a little spot of bubble algae growing. I plant to manually remove and siphon out, but should I also spot treat the area afterwards with hydrogen peroxide or just let it be after manual removal.

    Calcium Reactor Media As Substrate

I talked to one of the workers at Neptune Aquatics and they said they don't do anything to maintain the crushed coral substrate, and if I got that route to not to touch it and just let it be.

    Calcium Reactor Media As Substrate

Thanks for reminding me, he actually gave me a bit of his substrate to help my tank get started. I should hit him up!

    Calcium Reactor Media As Substrate

I'm planning for a bigger tank already hahah! The 60-gallon Innovative Marine that is on the counter next the registers really caught my eye. It uses the calcium reactor substrate and looks amazing to me.

    Calcium Reactor Media As Substrate

I saw this nice tank on the latest WWC video and was wondering if anyone here uses calcium reactor media/crushed coral instead of sand or bare bottom? I've seen it in person at Neptune's on some of their display tanks. What are your thoughts? Pros/cons?

How did you attach to the back wall, just super glue the frag plug on there?

Dangalang's IM Nuvo Fusion 20 Nano

I want to put some coral on the back wall of my tank. I currently have some GSP mounted in the middle that has started to grow up the wall. My powerhead is positioned on the back of the tank, so the flow is going to be high and direct. Any suggestions?

Good idea! Didn't think of that, definitely way more wavelengths from all the different LED types compared to the Kessils.

Yeah, these things are powerful!! I run the Blue profile in the morning and evening and run the PeakLPS2 profile at 61% master during peak, which is 53 watts. I'll gonna play around with the settings to find a good profile for picture taking.

I added some corals from I got from Corals Farmers Market, LFS’s, and members. I gave the Rock Flower Anemone and the Tiger Conch away and replaced it with a smaller one. The bigger one was knocking stuff around, especially now that there are some corals on the sand bed. I started dosing...
