Moving a waterbox Infinia 215.5 from Vacaville to Castro Valley… help? Lol

I rented a U-Haul cargo van to move a 210 gallon with stand. Just make sure to measure the width of the cargo area with wheel wells to make sure the tank and stand can fit side by side. There was a difference between the Chevy vs Ford where one wouldn't work for me (forgot which). I feel like...

How to limit unwanted coral growth

Since it's a small patch, a stiff toothbrush to scrub off the living tissue then periodic jabs with something like a stick to kill off any traces still living. btw is that a pink lemonade colony above it?

Best Underwater Aquarium P+S Macro camera <$500?

Looks good so far! What modes are you using? Looks like it has underwater mode which I assume will color correct. Also microscope mode looks interesting and can maybe sharpen some of those close ups.

How has everyone’s corals from the swap been doing?

I was lucky to get one of @archibaldsharper 's Cherry Bombs. Big thanks to @derek_SR for the assist! I only planned to get one or two coral since my tank is pretty much out of room so I'm very happy with this :D Settling in nicely. Regarding the Oregon Tort debate. I have a true Oregon Tort...

Complete Bonus/Ultra Coral List - 2024 (REVISED AS OF 11/14/24)

I saw my lonely gold hammer and others in the later rounds  hah maybe consider them regular now since they're widely available and already had. Really surprised by the Oregon torts in the later rounds too. Blue corals just ain't as cool with today's bluer lights

    Reef 3D printing request thread

Great ideas and designs! I'll try making it square shaped and bigger. My stingy ass only made it 1.5mm diameter to speed up the print and save on filament...

    Reef 3D printing request thread

Tweaking around my frag jar holder design for this upcoming swap. Added pressure tabs on the side of the disk to keep it stable and a long stick to pull the frag out of the jar. I'm getting a lot of stringiness when it prints the long stick. Any advice on what settings to adjust to hopefully...

    Aptasia!

My take on berghias is that they're fantastic, but not a long term solution. Once they run out of aiptasia they will starve and die. Almost guaranteed if there was aiptasia in your display, there's aiptasia in your filter chambers, on the pumps, tubing, bio media, and will make its way back into...

    Goni Care

4 colonies started from tiny frags. Three over 4 years old, one almost 2 years. 4 frags over 6 months Have killed 3 from what I can recall. They just happen to be expensive ones too :( The most noticeable difference between surviving and thriving was when I started feeding consistently. I use...

    Copperband Butterfly feeding when away?

I've been trying some different options with freeze dried mysis and my plank feeder to make sure my CBB eats. Drum dispenses and mixing pump turns on at the same time. This results in a slow dispensing of food and most of it ends up floating to the surface again. Some fish eat it there, some...
