I guess its a no to the crabbing boat accident.

I don't think this is really a problem for acrylic. Like I said above it can be detrimental. I never put foam under any acrylic tanks I've owned.

Generally from my understanding foam under acrylic can lead to more bowing of the tank.

Are you sure they could cut 1/2" by 1/2" by X long triangle piece used to reinforce a seam?

Most of these armored seams are just to protect from algae scrapers vs reinforce. Red sea seems to just use a small flat piece of acrylic at a 45 degree angle.

Firecracker can be a tricky one when I frag it. Mine is doing well. The red photon grows very slow, however mine is just starting to take off. PL does not seem like a difficult coral, let me know if you need another. I just hope the whole colony doesn't break when fragging.

Anything 3d printed probably will not look cleaner that something manufactured if that is your goal. That product is likely made from aluminum which should be very easy to drill.

Would their bar not work if you just drilled it where you needed it?
