 Looks like fee to the club is about $0.12 per $4 ticket. Not something to worry about.

(CLOSED) Half-priced ($4) Coral Farmers Market tickets!!! September 24th in Sunnyvale

I do not see anything on the transaction log at all from a "Justin" in that time frame. So no idea what went wrong. A guess is that you had a typo when you sent it.

Smart Outlet that can be set by the seconds?

Step 1: Switch to apple homekit. Step 2: Develop your own app. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/homekit Easy. :-) The hardware for all of these devices is perfectly capable of very high speed. Couple of milliseconds. But finding an app that does exactly what you want is the problem...

    PSA: heatwave and pge shutdown

It may someday. We are block 50 for now, but sketchy. The fire department down the street was shut down, but still used for ambulance storage and such. My fan based evaporative cooling is not keeping up. It is in the garage, which is 95+ right now. Moving fans to display tank inside.

    Fish plague or serial killer

I have more experience with Blue Green Chromis, but I think it is similar. With those, I think the key is tank size and rockwork. In my old smaller 50G tank, I had trouble with small groups. In my larger 250G tank, never any problems. Plus I have heard similar from others. One theory being...

Need help with DIY solar generator

The charge controller may use a bit also. Especially if it is a fancy bluetooth enabled one. Same with your battery sensor itself. And some lithium ion batteries have protection inside, which also uses a tiny bit of power. Yes, the inverter will use current in standby. Usually < 1%. Depends on...

    Rygh's 250 gallon - Rev 3

I have a dedicated circuit for everything. I actually split that into individual outputs, each with a GFCI. So if one GFCI pops, it does not take down the others. And there is a big surge protector built into the circuit. Still showing green. But I do not have a true power conditioner on the...

    Rygh's 250 gallon - Rev 3

So the equipment that has died in the last 2 months: Skimmer pump Return pump Cooling fan Two Lights Hard to believe it is a total coincidence. I have a feeling it might be the heat. All that equipment is old. Perhaps the heat wave did them in.

    Rygh's 250 gallon - Rev 3

So I had to move the skimmer for the new Rollermat ... and ... The skimmer controller died. No idea why. I just moved it a bit. Nothing was wet. Opened it up, but no obvious fuse or anything burned out or loose. Fancy Red dragon thing. SECOND time the controller has died now. Support was OK but...

    There was a fire...

Wow, what a mess. Sympathies!! Good luck with insurance. That might be a worse experience than the fire. I had a reef octopus skimmer pump smoke myself, similar model, old AC motor. But it just put a bit of black crud in the water and stopped.

    Skimmer?

There are really 4 things to look at in a skimmer: Quality, Neck size, Body size, and Pump. With a fleece roller, I would definitely look for a smaller neck size. Size is a function of bio-load needs, not gallons, and a roller reduces that. Body size: As large as possible. Increases dwell...

    Mounting suggestions

I would attach some nice maple hardwood 1x2 to the bottom of the cabinet, sticking straight out. Nicely stained to match cabinets. Upside down cantalever. Then have the lights hang from those. You would have to screw into the cabinets, but it is underneath/inside, where it will not show.

I give up, need a new RO/DI unit, suggestions?

Booster pump can be a big help if you have low water pressure. I would consider 45 low.

Torch Dying? Or is this normal for splitting?

Prune that really bad one quick and dispose of it. If bacterial, it can really spread. But it also check flow. Make sure some powerhead is not pointing right at it.

I give up, need a new RO/DI unit, suggestions?

If the cap is broken, just replace the canister. BRS has pretty solid ones. The 1/4 ports are less likely to crack. The trick is the amount of teflon tape on the fittings, and how much you tighten them. Do not use too much tape, and do not over tighten. You need a large or dual carbon block...

1.8x concentrated Soda Ash to match Triton Core7

I went and double checked. Pressure really only affects solubility in a gas, not a liquid. Liquids are (almost) incompressible.

1.8x concentrated Soda Ash to match Triton Core7

When I ran DIY additives (using BRS chemicals) I always diluted it way down with RODI. You add a ton of RODI for top off anyway, so no problem with extra water. It made a big difference on crud in the tubing, and reduced the fun dendrites that grow on the end of the tube where it drips into the...

126 gallon: return flow 1,000 gph or 2,000 gph?

Pump type is a tough call. RD3 is a good pump. I have one on my skimmer. Controller failed, but good customer support. On the other hand Jebao is a crappy pump with zero support, but you can buy 6 of them for the price of an RD3, which means you can have dual returns, with a spare or two, and...

126 gallon: return flow 1,000 gph or 2,000 gph?

First: I would strongly recommend dual return pumps if you have the space. Return pumps fail. All brands, even the most expensive. Losing filtration for a few days until you can fix it is not the end of the world, but the problem is, we all have our heaters in the sump. Winter can be cold at...
