    Gimmito's 450 gal L-shaped tank

If i had done even half the planning you did on this tank Jim, i would have saved myself ALOT of money. Prpos on waiting, cuz if that was me, id have the RO flowing with a couple buckets of salt next to me. I got that sch80 stuff anytime you wana come by.

    Patricks 50 gal. cube

Yea getting ANY equipment to fit the CAD was a challange. I wanted to try out some Zeo stuff this time around since dosing for a smaller tank would be much more affordable, but the space for another reactor just isnt there. I didnt know you can change out the ballast to 250W. Which ballast...

Tighten bulk head, will this wrench work?

i dont see why not as long as you can get a good grip on it. I ended up using a couple of 2x4 and some C clamps to tighten mine when i had no tools a while back. Whats the exact size you need to get around, i can check my channel locks here. If theyre big enough your welcome to use them.

    Patricks 50 gal. cube

Thanks! You'll find that the maintenance with this tank is a WHOLE lot easier than a 180 gal. I gotta agree with you on the light. The color is great but that fan has to go. I'm looking into changing mine out to a 250w reefbrite pendant soon so i can start keeping sps in the lower regions...

    New reefer

welcome to BAR and Union City. lol. Not much going for us around here except for the convienience of a 24hr walmart down the street for late night DIY jobs and Atlantis aquarium. But its nice having another local reef head

    a240reef's newb reef

id have to agree with Gresham on the 6 line. If it were possible to magnify the devils sperm 100x youd see a pissed off sixline. I kept one in a 180 gal and it gladly punked ANY new addition to the tank. The only reason i kept it was because i couldnt catch it.

Idea to black the back panel

I have black vinyl stuck on the back of mine. You can go that route at a fraction of the cost of acrylic. There's tons of vinyl shops around but one that comes to mind is Okie Dokie signs in Hayward. We used to go there to get graphics for our cars back in the day.
