As long as it's UL listed, you should be good. Believe it or not, it actually does make a difference of where you get them because there actually are better quality resistors, capacitors, and transistors that have a longer lifespan. Of course, you pay for it in price though.

Unfortunately, I'm out. In my attempt to re-frag my one polyp, I ripped it in half and glued it to the plug. It remained on the plug for a few days or a week but after that, it seemed to have detached or was removed by my cleaner shrimp. -_-

It may be a little early for corals. You're going to get a lot of swings in parameters as the tank stabilizes so don't be surprised if some corals perish or behave poorly in case the parameters change drastically.

It might be better to blow across the surface instead of downward. Also, you're basically pulling heat that's rising and pushing it downward. You may get a slightly cooler tank but I don't think it's the most efficient way. Just some food for thought.
