    Auto Repair Shop

Thanks. Yeah It was just me and the other driver, no passengers. The 20 year old girl was very sorry and couldn't stop crying. She told the officer that she was going for the break but accidentally hit the gas pedal.

    Auto Repair Shop

Need a good fair auto repair shop. I was t-boned in Millbrae on Dec. 10th. I’m going through her parents insurance(AAA) which had me go to All Car Auto Painting & Body Repair on 9th/Claremont in San Mateo. The shop quoted $6574.88 which $670 is not a part of the crash, so I’m not trusting the...

    Cleaning Filter Socks

I just hookup a small garden hose to the garage wash basin and use the jet position on the nozzle to clean the socks. Then let them air dry. I don’t see the need for bleach. Just cleaned 9 socks and it only took 17 minutes.

    Return Pump Died

That would be great if you have one. I’ll be relooking at the pump tomorrow. Someone on humblefish mentioned, “Look at the front cover. Sometimes the hole where the impeller goes gets worn out and the shaft runs wobbly.” I asked if this could cause the GFCI to trip and they said, “If the...

    Return Pump Died

So the return pump (Mag 9.5)on my main tank died. I was looking at the tank and the return pump turned off when it shouldn't have. Took it out and it felt hot. Inspected it/cleaned it and put it back. It turned on but was making noise. Took it out and brought it downstairs to test in a bucket of...

    Rose’s 50 & 90g Tanks

It seems like my trochus snails in my garage tank love it enough to make babies. The last two months I found two adult snails in the sump. I thought maybe they some how escaped the tank and made it some how into the sump. I had originally bought 8 I think last year or the beginning of this year...

    Rose’s 50 & 90g Tanks

I have outside air and Co2 scrubber teed straight into the Venturi which I do have ball valves on both lines. If I try and close them with this new pump/impeller it creates a lot of micro bubbles. Like I said I have the water level wide open so I can’t adjust the water level in the skimmer...

    Rose’s 50 & 90g Tanks

Just bought 3 Hydra 52’s non HD from @Matt_Wandell. Two are replacing the Vegas on the garage tank and the third one will go with the two that are already on the main tank. First picture is the Vegas, second is with Vegas and 52, third is with both 52’s. I’ll have to check PAR and possibly reduce.
