I have a pair of those a while back and had the "hot power supply" issue. I called them and they sent me two new ones. I forget what phone number I used but it wasn't off their site - I just Googled around. I think it was this but cant be sure (was years ago). give that a shot... worked for me

Before I got an Apex I just used Google Sheets. Easy enough & you have a ton of flexibility in how to manipulate & chart the data. Now I just log po4 & nitrate in Apex if I remember to (since the Trident stuff is already there).

I implement something like Option A. Main goal being that I don't want to "do stuff" in the same chamber where I "read stuff" as I don't want to explicitly impact the readings. EX: I don't dose into the same chamber where the Trident pulls water from & don't have temp probe in the same chamber...

I’ve had 2 reefers delivered “curbside”. The freight guy had a lift thing both times and wheeled it into the garage no problem (parked on the street). the guy resisted a tip but I insisted. Tldr; it shouldn’t be a problem at all. They’re generally really cool

I seeded pods in my tank a million times and never saw a single one; hunted them at night with a light & everything - never saw any!.... until I went fallow (ich outbreak). They're everywhere now! every day I scrape a few hundred off the glass (during my daily, cleaning chores) I'm guessing...

I had the exact situation. Frostbite, chased mate out of tank & killed it etc. I eventually added a mate that was super tiny (what @NanoCrazed suggested) and it was a drama free situation. Not a massive sample size but adding the tiniest mate I could find worked for me.
