I would junk the filter pad (the one filled with carbon) and the filter floss. Stuff a bunch of small rock rubble back there. You can also turn one the chamber into a refugium i believe--there should me a 5 inch square of the black tape on the back removed were you can shine a light into.

Also, have a bad ass skimmer and do lots and lots of water changes.

Matt Wandell is on this site and he has the azoo tank at the Steinhart. It will be really tricky to have a softies and azoos in the same system because the nutrient load to feed the azoos will be really high (there really is no way around it when you have to feed them so much) and adding enough...

I would put it in the shade with low flow until you get some coral inflation or polyp extension. Then put it in an appropriate place in the tank after 3 or 4 days. What kind of coral did you get by the way? Patrick

I wish I could show off my tank to you but it's looking pretty grim at the moment. Can't figure it out but 75% of my SPS have died and my really big sunset monti is now brown/grey. :(
