The gyre has been redone. Blades are much stronger. To clean it I put it in a bucket of water with vinegar and let set for 12-24 hrs. Taking it apart if neede is no difficult once you do it a couple of times.

Dosing either in my experience is hit or miss. One of my tanks had no issues, but one of my other ones, I had 3 at the time, had a cyno/ brown algae breakout. I have used both vodka and vinegar and they will lower your no3. My advise if you can lower any other way try that first. If not start...

Kessil does have good support. I recently purchased 2 ap700's, and the rep. talked me right thru the setting up process. They also sent me a replacement for a 350n a ways back without any hassle. Dick F

Very nice set up. I bought a fed sea reefer 525xl in April. Come to my event and organize my electrical and sump. For water movement I'm using a 150 gyre and a jabeo. Once you get it cycled and stocked I think you'll really enjoy it. Dick F

Not sure not sure if you can make to my event 7-23-16, but if you do you can see some gyre pumps I'm running with some jabeo's. Plenty of flow and evenly disbursed. I didn't know you had a clash, but I'm glad your not giving up. Dick Flanagan

I haven't had it but some research indicated to use the furan-2 and dip separately three times and then wait to see what the results. At the same time increasing the tanks flow seems to help. Seems like it's curable but is a pain.
