Both of these two lights are good. I know several folks in r2r who are using it and happy with it. It wont be like kessil, but it will be just fine to grow SPS. Folks have also modded them for dimming with controllers, to get sunrise to sunset effect.

Go for a pico. Imagitarium, marineland or waterbox as some nice aio options. Can create a species only tank , like 20g sea horse or pico sps tank (4g)

You have cyano as well. Use a turkey Baster to blast it off. Can you share a tank picture, if they are in high flow are , that can cause. History ? How long they have been like this ? How old is the tank

I have seen this in past as well. Infact if I recall correctly theres a aquascape that involves floating rocks (like the ones they showed in avatar) along with this sand based water falls. Epic.

even in home depot you can pick up pack of 4 outlets under 30$ I think. I use two main ones and then connect the main power bars to those.. individual outlets do not need to be GFCI potected

Actually I am thinking of doing a battle box from battle coral, I get to choose type and probably some colors etc. the guy generally reach out and customize on case by case basis
