Tank is still just chugging along. I added a cleaner shrimp and quite a few snails as I was getting well into the diatom phase. The snails have done really well on getting things cleaned up and the shrimp is a character. Also started feeding LRS. The fish all seem to like it, the shrimp LOVES...

Usually you want the emergency drain to have no valve at all. The gate valve should be on the main drain.

Yeah. It was our idea. And we talked about it and decided to give it a shot. I’ve seen other tanks that have done fine with 3 clowns. But like I said, we’ll keep an eye on them and are ready to pull one if it becomes an issue. I’m not sure I’d equate it to shooting up with heroin though.

They said it should be ok given their size/age, the fact that they’re captive raised, and then the size of our tank. It’s something we’ll keep an eye on and be ready to remove one if we see any issues, though. This morning when I ca,e out they were all sleeping together in a ball.

Unless the water spilled out, it has to have been somewhere. I’m guessing the sump. I’d check the return pump and see if something got into or is partially blocking the intake.

Was the water level in your sump higher than normal?
