    Sourcing glass sheets local

So, there's a few interesting things about this. First, it's interesting that someone has been inquiring about sponsorship in the past week. Someone who was banned for their behavior on the board after repeated warnings, and who was subsequently banned multiple times afterwards because they...

Also that they use lanthanum chloride because GFO is a pain to work with at that scale. And they have calcium reactors for the tank!

    Co2 scrubber overated?

As a counterpoint to the above, I had low pH issues (7.9-8.1) on my 200 gallon DT and installed a BRS CO2 scrubber, and it's bumped my pH to 8.1-8.3. I have a fairly large skimmer though (Regal INT-150SSS) and I change the media once every 1-1.5 weeks though.

"The Lab" - Josh and Tiffany's IM Nuvo EXT 200

Update 7-14-24 Coral QT tank has had flatworms for a few weeks now; I've been religiously dipping the corals with potassium chloride every other day for the last week, but I'm still getting a few off every dipping. My suspicion is that these are the harmless red planaria making their way onto...

"The Lab" - Josh and Tiffany's IM Nuvo EXT 200

7-10-24 Tank's been chugging along well. No further losses of torches (which makes me more convinced it was, in fact, something that was treated by the interceptor). We've also slowly but surely been adding acros to the tank, and I'll have all the goodies I got from the swap (and a TCK master...

    Canary Coral

I keep a bunch of torches. So, pretty much any (or all) of them. But then they'll sometimes just decide to be pissy for no reason, so there's a lot of false alarms.

    CH Product Information

I'd count the rather large amount of stuff he's donated to raffles as "free". But that's just me. Glad to have you here @Coral Hub (Nathan) , and I can also more than vouch for the quality (and quantity) of his pods and phyto.

    56G Tank

100%. This exact same thing happened to me, except mine went from "no sand" to "all the sand" in less than 30 minutes. Glad you got it taken care of!

What Coral / Fish do you consider to be a must - have and why?

Must-have coral: dragon soul torch. It was my wife and I's first torch, and we love it when it's colored up. Fish: Going forward, probably either a CBB or bimac anthias school.
