It's just the newer better looking Chaeto at that point. There are plenty of reefers out there that have still never seen this. After your 2 dbtc distributions you can do with it as you'd like.

Feeding reef roids every other day is a lot. I would suggest 2x per week and reevaluate in a few weeks.

If you can actually make a 24” version which is ridgid and durable enough I would also be interested. I imagine many folks would be. I have some 24” rusty metal ones that I would love to replace.

Sounds like you are skimming too wet if you are having to empty it every two days. I would adjust it to more of a dry skim if you want to increase nutrients a bit.

Most coral will look very different based on placement :) And most chalices can hold their own if encroached, but do not have Hollywood stunner length sweepers. Ones of this variety typically do not have sweepers at all.
