Those are indo golds. (Arvin might be using another name) Banana Torches are much more yellow, although i can see how these look yellow in the photo. Banana torches wont have the darker purple/black on them.

    CFM - torch vendor recommendation?

You can ask where they source their corals from. If you're looking for something that has been well quarantined I would go with Arvin @ Kay's Coral Cove

    Which "springeri" eats flatworms?

I will answer your question directly in the event that you still want to give a Springeri a shot. Many LFS’s like Neptune keep them in their tanks for pest control. Plus, they’re beautiful fish which can do well in a 20 gallon. The answers that I’ve gotten, after lots of research, is that...

    Torch coral ID verification

As some others have said, the puffiness of the torch is an individual response to its environment in your tank. It would likely look completely different in another tank. Give it some time to settle in.

    CFM Volunteers Needed (9/14)

You can, however, let’s refrain from putting them into the PAR display tank. Having them in cups on the table will be fine. If they are dbtc please also bring a piece of paper and pen for people to write their information on so you can allocate the frags in Barcode afterwards.

    CFM Volunteers Needed (9/14)

I understand the intent of it being an extra draw to our table and support the initiative. My main concern is that we might be asking volunteers to demonstrate something that they may not...

    Labor day tank sales online

Reef Casa is a relatively new company, started by the youtuber "FragBox". I have a 9 gallon frag tank from them which does the job, but you can tell it still could have used some small tweaks in design before releasing. They seem to be regularly changing their tank offerings, trying to land on...

    Thoughts on sponges?

I have this particular blue sponge in my tank which has encroached on some encrusting coral and killed it. So all sponges are not created equal. I've also heard that some are very picky and require specific environments in well established tanks. In some cases I think you could be risking...
