Be careful adding Maroons - they are much more aggressive than Percs or Ocellaris. I've done it, but you really need to make sure to add a tiny male to have best shot at success. Gold Banded are easier than white stripes - at least in my experience. Should work out, just be prepared!

IC Gel is the stuff! Plus the club usually has it on sale for a killer price at the meetings.

Using plasmas the shimmer lines are even more noticeable. After two years, when I see a tank without the shimmer it looks flat and dull to me. After seeing the new A350W, I am considering swapping out the T5s on my 50G for a Kessil.

Should be available at White Caps - but in 50# bags for the Emaco and gallon jugs for the Acryl. You might ask and see if anyone has some to spare, also available from Marco Rocks online. I usually have small portions but not sure when I'll be back in the Bay Area.

Saw those. I really like the build on the Stray Light fixtures much better. It is nice riser more coming on the market. Choices are always nice!
