Today water in tank looks a bit cloudy. Didn't do anything that different yesterday as we were out most of the day. Did one feeding instead of two (skipped the evening feed). I'll test my water params today to see if anything is off.

That's a good point, Michael. It'd be convenient if the pumps would go back on after ~15min post-feeding. I think I can set it up that way, will look into it!

Wow, impressed that you 7 year old daughter is asking whether a fish is captive bred or wild caught! My 7 year old has been pretty interested in my process of starting my tank up again - been taking her with me to LFS. Older 10 year old is not as interested =( To each his own I guess!

Had a 34g Solana (20" x 20" x 20") going decently until our first born arrived in 2011. It was a mix of fish, inverts + RBTA, LPS and a few SPS. Had our second born in 2014 and that's when things really started to drop off... Was nevertheless proud that I had an 11-year-old ocellaris clown...
