I'm pretty sure that only the bottoms of some tanks are tempered, most are just regular glass. You don't want tempered if you plan to drill it

Just adding some updated pics of coral growth and with some new corals I got from @svreef. He has a really cool crown at thorns birdsnest, it stays really tight.

I have some Rastas and some yellow submarines I can frag up to donate.

Here's some more updated shots. Still trying to figure out what intensity for my light, I'm going to have to borrow the PAR meter soon. Most corals are doing well, Zoas are growing like crazy. Have a couple that are struggling but hanging in.

For those who have a sunrise/sunset controller, how long do you have it come on for? How many hours is peak power? Thanks

I am willing to give out some of my small frags of Zoas. I am lucky enough to be on my local volunteer fire department, so when we evacuated I was able to stay at the station and be able to go home and check on stuff every few days

Just poke them with something to make them recede. It seemed like if we did it for a few days to a week they would move and about 75% of the time they would move then split. Thats how we ended up with so many to give away. We had 1 that was bothering other corals so we bothered it, it moved...

@missrenee7 is my wife, they seem to split when they get bothered too much. We had a few that were either too close to another coral or got too big for that area and we would bother them to get them to move and about 75% of the time they would move and then split

I am by no means an expert, but per the test, it shows your zinc is in the red. Not sure what that means for corals, but it could be your culprit

Mine was barely on the rock and moved within 12 hours. Yours looks good

Wanted to do a little update. Got my Make My LED light like a week after the original post, I really like the adjustability of it, I wish it had more blue though. I got the fully programmable controller with it, so i can have it ramp up and down through out the day. I only have it ramp up to 50%...

Ya, I have always loved this tank. My brother was the one who did the black sand, I'll get an updated pic later, I got an orange Fungia in there and the Fungia absolutely pops with the black sand
