I've never had a problem with clowns hosting in nems. I've done the feeding live brine shrimp w/garlic near the nem in the past with 100% success rate.

Try Tropic Eden sand...no cloudiness and hands down best sand I've ever used. I would do it in sections also.

Might be easier to do a dedicated east bay tour then end up at AC/Diablo or a south bay tour and end up at Neptune's. Unfortunately, the peninsula has lost Top Notch and AE and SF doesn't have any LFS.

I tried to schedule 2-3 tours a year when I was VP. Who doesn't like a good tank tour and sale at the LFS? I know it would a big help if members would coordinate the tank tours though :).

The last few tank tours we typically had 4-5 members tanks and ended the tour at one of our sponsored LFS. This is a good way to see other BAR members tanks and show a little love to our sponsors (a discount on live stock/dry goods is usually given to BAR members also!). While many LFS start out...
