I believe I am looking at algae on this bubble coral skeleton. The coral is doing very well in my tank. I am not sure why this happened. Should I try and brush off with a toothbrush at night when receeded? Or just let be? I think i may get worse as it grows. The pictures below are 3 hrs apart.

I dont think something that indiscriminately deprives living tissue from oxygen should be a front line primary prevention measure. I think there are better options. In some cases yes I used this for my bryiopsis on frags. Works great. Anybody who needs 3%, I can get you a bottle.

I would not use hydrogen peroxide

I would just run on the slower side to get more contact time. Best of both worlds. Has been working for me (I think).

They all look very similar to me. I personally would go with the lowest cost option unless there was something that would explain and extra 3k charge.
